I also make sure they have the time they need to clean thoroughly. No rushing through multiple homes in a day. That way, every space is truly spotless and inviting.
And I don’t just leave it at that. I personally regularly inspect homes—kitchens, corners, under furniture—making sure every home meets my high standards. It’s this level of care and attention that sets Nomad Getaways apart.

Responsiveness: Always Here When You Need Me
There’s nothing more frustrating than needing help during your stay and struggling to reach your host—or waiting too long for a response. Many guests mention being routed to big call centers or having their messages go unanswered for days. I’ve been there myself. On a trip to Depoe Bay, I arrived to find the bedding missing for a trundle bed. After leaving three messages over two days, someone finally showed up the night before checkout—only to refuse to give us the linens!
My Approach:
As your host, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
Always Available: When a guest stays in one of my homes, my phone is always on. I even let friends and family know that I’m on call, so they understand why I immediately respond to an incoming message—whether it’s from a guest or an owner. Owners also need quick answers, whether it’s about a maintenance issue or a booking inquiry, and I make sure to be there when they need me.
Proactive Planning: On the rare occasions I’m not available, I make sure my guests and owners know exactly who to contact for assistance. I never leave anyone without options, and I ensure backup support is ready to help.
Quick Responses: I pride myself on responding within minutes. Even a 10-15 minute delay feels too long for me because I want both my guests and the owners I work with to feel supported and cared for at all times.
